This book is amazing. I used to hate Scourge and think he was a bit evil; but (this is my opinion) I realized that he isn't, but a cat trying to survive in a way some may dislike.This is the story of the fearsome Scourge, leader of BloodClan. You get to read a manga in the point of view of Scourge, telling the story how he became from a bullied-kitten to the strong leader of rogues.Tiny was bullied by his brother and sister as a kit, but when he leaves his twoleg nest trying to survive, he is nearly killed by Tigerstar (tigerpaw at the time) and left with a grudge. He becomes strong and learns to live for blood as a stray, but his want for revenge against Tigerstar never fades. I also really like his bonds with the street rogues, and how he protects them and cares for them, as they are the only cats who gave him a chance. Heck, he even feeds his bullying siblings (so he's not bad.)This is amazing and also sad and definitely not for people that want a cute animal story. I love Scourge now, and I love this manga. Way to go, Erin! Way to go, manga! Way to go, Scourge!
Scourge is my favorite villain from Warriors. To know more about is past life is great. I absolutely loved The Rise of Scourge. The drawings are correct and even if the 'manga' is small, we learn a lot about Scourge/Tiny. Scourge is not just an heartless cat who enjoys killing : He's a great leader who protects his clanmate. He wasn't lucky to have friends to help him or faith for StarClan to guide him, like Firestar. He became the best he could all alone. I love him even more now that I know how hard his life was. Thank you Erin Hunter.
(Spoiler warning) it is awesome ,it tells about Scourge , leader of BloodClan , as a kit , being bullied by his brother and sister , socks and ruby, Scourge's name being Tiny back when he was a kittypet ,you go through is journey of him from cute adorable kitten to a menacing leader with a sad back story.
This book is amazing just like all the others it's just that this one is very good because it takes a very loved well known character and gives them a great back story I mean scourge is one of the greatest villains and with this book it makes since why he is so rebellious against tiger star and just why he is the cat he is not only that I can actually respect scourge because he has such an amazing back story that makes since it really shows why he is such an great cat and kinda shows that being small does not mean you are any weaker in fact maybe even stronger its just yes I think that the erins did a wonderful job
I love these series, I enjoyed reading The Rise Of Scourge and took my time reading it. He is my favorite Warrior Cat character so far. Scourge was persistent on getting revenge on those who treated him miserably, and he kept on going and challenged himself on hard threats. He'll forever be my favorite warrior cat. I suggest those who want to buy this book for e=under 8 or 7 should be careful, because this book has some violence. There is some blood in this, but it's not gruesome nor is it heavy.

My 9 year old granddaughter LOVES this series. I just found out that it is sold in sets. Wish I had known that before Christmas as I will be double buying books to get the entire series.
I've always wanted to hear Scourge's story, and why he became so bad. The thing is, the manga is rather short.
